The last 6 months

Hey all. It has been a while since we posted. Seems 2009 has flown by, not sure where it went. It has been a great year.

We now have three great kids.

Chloe is in Kindergarten and loves to learn. She loves to read. She has learned several words and loves to look at books and search for "her words". She will say, "I know that word", and tell us what it is. She can now read small sentences. She still loves everything girl and is especially into barbies now. She is in dance for the second year. Last Saturday her dance group put on a Christmas show, the Nutcracker. It was fun to have Grandma and Grandpa Wadman come watch her perform. She danced in the chinese dancer group. She led the group out onto the stage for their dance. She got to wear makeup and looked beautiful.

Tommy is a good brother. He still gets lots of comments about his red hair and blue eyes. He loves to wrestle. Chloe likes to wrestle with him, but he is pretty tough for his size, so she has to watch out. He has almost completed his potty training and sometimes needs a pull-up at night. He is learning his shapes and how to spell his name. He can spell it outloud, but is working on recognizing the written letters. He has moved on from Diego and now is Spiderman's biggest fan. Other hero's for Tommy include: Lightning McQueen, Buzz Lightyear and Handy Manny. Tommy is Scott's little buddy and they enjoy going to Bees games, movies and Home Depot. He was pretty excited to go to his first BYU football game with Daddy, and Grandma and Grandpa Pett.

Addie is our smily, big blue eyed, baby. She is definitely a Momma's girl, but is learning how to wrap Daddy around her little finger. She is a good eater and makes little sounds when she is eating. It is very cute to hear. She rolls all over the floor and was caught today by Sharon opening a present under the tree. She is very happy, although she will let you know when it is bed time, eating time, time to get up, time to play, if you put her in the wrong position, or if she just thinks she needs to say something. It is fun watching her play with her feet on the floor and chattering away. She likes her binky more than Mommy would like her to.

Well it has been awhile and now we have our baby girl-- she was born on May 11, 2009 7.6 pounds and 19 inches-- she is so beautiful!! Her name is Adelaide Rose (we call her Addie). She has brown hair, not as much as Chloe and Tommy but still a lot. We have to thank our mid wife Machel Knowles, she delivered all 3 of our kids and we love to death!! The labor and delivery went pretty well- she came out facing side ways so her face was pretty bruised up. The bruises are almost gone now, except for a little on both eye lids. Chloe has graduated from preschool and had her dance recital-- she did great and received the most improved for the preschool age group!! I was so excited we had no idea!! Tommy is an active 2 1/2 year old boy-- he is full of energy and love for his little baby sister!!! Scott is busy with work and still comes up with great ideas for everything!! Earlier this month we went to Oregon, Scott's grandpa passed away June 5th while he was staying with Scott's mom here in Utah, so we headed up there for the funeral. We borrowed my dad's big Lincoln(Thanks Dad!!) it really helped us spread out-- normally a drive strait there takes 12 hours but it took us 17hrs!!! It was long drive but the kids did great!! Addie did really well I thought she would have the hardest time!!

Well these last couple of weeks have been pretty busy... Chloe had her "pretend birthday" at school.. We made a poster with a few pictures and took treats... the next week was her Valentine Day's party, she had a great time decorating her box and deciding who got what valentine. Scott has been out of town again-- he was in Oregon, a small town called John Day-- he actually loves this place because of a yummy steakhouse!!! He looks forward to it all year!! Tommy is a very active 2 year old!! Boys sure are different from girls! He is very loud- compared to Chloe- and I am not use to it!! He is a good boy just very active! When Scott was out of town I went and stayed with my parents-- I usually like to stay home but with this pregnancy I don't like to be alone more than one night! We had a great time there.. my parents spoiled the kids.. my mom did a lot of art projects with Chloe and Tommy got to help my dad build fires! Today Chloe had a princess birthday party with one of her little friends from school and we had fun dressing her up as Cinderella! She had a great time! Tommy and I went grocery shopping and got a Lightening McQueen balloon!! He was so excited he is so into race cars right now!

On Feb 8th my mom celebrated her 70th bday! We had a big party for her..with just family! My whole family was there (minus Scott that's the day he left for Oregon:( plus my mom's brother and most of his family and my aunt Lynette's husband and kids! My dad said there was about 70 people there!! In my family alone there is just over 50 people! While we were there my niece's fiance was there named Travis and he is a music major.. well anyways he played the piano for Chloe to dance and he would follow Chloe's rhythm. It was so fun to see her having such a great time! Travis is so great with the kids! Aubree, my niece his fiance, played with Tommy.. Tommy loves her and if you ask him who Aubree is going to marry he says Aubee marry me!

This is my 1st entry-- not sure what to say... so I guess I just talk about what I am doing lately... Today Chloe and I worked on her Valentine box for school and wrote her Valentines for her friends, I thought it would be a quick project turned into an hour and a half!!! Oh well Chloe loved it!!! Tommy the other day came up to me in my bedroom while I was doing Chloe's hair and he was carrying my deodorant and says to me Mommy I do not like this it is yucky!!! I looked at the deodorant and he must have licked it poor guy!!!!

I learned this last week how much i need and love my husband-- last Thursday I had a very bad side pain (everything OK just had kidney stones, didn't know it though!!) and had to call a neighbor to take me to the doctor. While I was there, I was surprised at how much I wanted Scott there with me (he was out of town on a business trip), I thought I was a pretty strong person and if an emergency came up I would miss Scott, want him there, but be OK.. Well I missed him so much and wished so bad he was there. My parents came and everything and I am grateful they were there but I really wanted my Scotty!!!

I am also thankful for my neighbor, she dropped everything and came to my house and took my kids and I tot the hospital, she watched my kids till the my parents could get there! I am so thankful to her for all she did for me!

Well that is it for now...
